Food and Fun Fair

Food and Fun fair started and 3.00pm and went on till around 6.30pm.

For Prison Babies we wanted to do some fund raising which we managed to do by having Young Jun as the Balloon man and the other members helping sell candy floss. Our goal was to raise a reasonable amount of money for the Bethlehem Creche, the childcare center that we are now working with. We managed to make around $100 which was an alright amount of money, however this was excluding the money we had to pay for the candy floss machine. We still made some profits that we can use for our CAS!

We had divided our members up into small groups so that we could help out to sell at the candy floss machine at different times... However Maheshi and I (The new leaders) ended up standing at the candy floss machine for quite some time since some of our members did not show up to help out, this showed how we: worked collaboratively with each other  and that we showed commitment in the activity.

Overall I think that it went quite well and that we should do something similar next year during food and fun fair!
